Is Dharani the same as Bhu Bharati? What happened to Dharani?

Yes. Bhu Bharati replaced the Dharani portal on 14 April 2025 under the Telangana Record of Rights Act, 2024. All land-records data — including survey numbers — carried over, and old Dharani links redirect to Bhu Bharati.

Can I find a survey number without already knowing it?

Yes — by location on the 1acre map. On the government portal you normally need the owner name or passbook number, because it has no map-first search.

What are the Pahani, Adangal and ROR 1-B?

The Pahani (also called Adangal) is Telangana's annual Record of Rights. It lists the survey number, land extent, owner (pattadar) and crop details. ROR 1-B is the ownership section. Your survey number is recorded here.

One plot, many names — which one is the ‘survey number’?

Survey Number (సర్వే నంబర్)

The unique ID for a parcel in the revenue records. Sub-divisions are written like 112/1, 112/2 when land is split.

Pahani / Adangal (పహాణీ · అడంగల్)

Telangana's annual Record of Rights — it lists the survey number, extent, pattadar (owner) and crop. This is where your survey number is recorded.

ROR 1-B

The ownership section of the record, tied to the survey number and shown alongside the Pahani.

Pattadar Passbook (పట్టాదారు పాస్‌బుక్)

The title passbook issued to the owner — proof of ownership for a given survey number.
