Process:

  1. Verify encumbrances: Conduct an encumbrance certificate search to ensure the land is free of legal issues and claims.

 

  1. Prepare sale deed: Draft and execute a sale deed with the seller clearly outlining the terms and conditions of the sale.

 

  1. Land registration: Book the slot on the Dharani portal to visit the MRO/Tehsildar office for registration of the land. Complete the registration and mutation at the MRO's office within four months of execution.
